The HFC-227ea Automatic Fire Suppression Tube (AFST) is an innovative, self-activating fire suppression device engineered for enclosed spaces. Designed for electrical cabinets, vehicle engine compartments, and other compact risk areas, the system requires no manual pulling, handling, or squeezing to activate — it operates fully automatically.

The AFST system protects small enclosed spaces and engine compartments that are at risk of fire. It activates automatically when the fire detection tube is exposed to direct flame impingement or reaches the melting point temperature of the AFST tubing.

The fire suppression agent is stored within the AFST tubing itself. Upon activation, the agent is discharged directly onto the fire point of origin and dispersed around the enclosed compartment through the tube at its melted point.
